Built in Weslaco, for the whole Valley.
LivingRGV is the birthchild of two Valley entrepreneurs — born, like the businesses that raised them, in Weslaco, Texas.
Entrepreneurship runs in the family for both founders. One grew up in the shadow of the local pharmacy his father built; the other, around the family furniture store his grandfather founded. Different trades, same Valley, same lesson learned early: a good local business is the backbone of a community.
Years later, both saw the same gap. Local businesses deserved to be better represented — and locals and visitors alike deserved one place to find everything the Valley has to offer, instead of scattered across a dozen tabs and Facebook groups.
Between them — multiple businesses owned, and more than 25 years combined in sales, marketing, and management — the same problem kept surfacing. Great local businesses held back by bad infrastructure: no marketing, no web presence, sometimes not even a professional email or business line. And either no resources to fix it, or no time and no idea where to look.
Our mission is to be the bridge.
