Sencia Serving Smiles

Starting Sencia Serving Smiles has not been easy. One of the biggest challenges we have faced has been funding. We are a small nonprofit, and we don’t have a large budget or a lot of financial resources behind us. There have been times when I’ve wondered how we were going to keep everything going, because the need in our community is so much greater than the resources we have available. But I didn’t want a lack of funding to stop us from helping people. We have relied heavily on donations, volunteers, community support, and fundraising efforts to continue serving. Every meal we provide, every piece of clothing we give away, and every child we are able to help is possible because someone believed in what we are doing. We are still growing, and we are actively looking for grants, donors, and community partners who believe in our mission. We may not have everything we need yet, but we have the heart, the determination, and the commitment to keep going.
